This shit gets pulled on me [by white strangers] often, practically on the daily lately! Like when I worked at a retail clothing store when I was a teenager (youngest and only POC employee), got fired when my probation/training period was almost complete… and they refused to pay me for any of the shifts I had worked. I wrote an assertive email and wouldn’t you know it!: the big boss made the tone argument. Stupid annoying white fool.
